A review of: Rabbit, Ruined (RUN RABBIT RUN Book 1) by Emory Swift

First off, I would like to thank the author Emory Swift for providing me a digital ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

After reading the hookline for Emory's story in an author email, I was excited to be able to get my hands on an early copy.

The characters are well fleshed out. All of them are granted 'screen time', all the captives as well as the captor. Thus, we see the story unfold and progress with their motivations and actions playing a role. The author is also skillful in making us feeling the emotions the teenager captives are going through.

The book ends in a cliffhanger. Since it's part of a series, I'm very excited to see the rest of the story play out.

It is a dark story of a serial killer and his twisted ways, so I'd advise potential readers to check out trigger warnings.

I give this book: 4 out of 5 stars!

Rabbit, Ruined comes out on 19th September, 2023, so get your copy!
